New online shop

After having a short break whilst travelling around South East Asia for almost three months (incredible, I can't wait to go back again), a little trip to Poland, a wedding, a holiday in Spain and moving back up to Scotland, it's been great to get creative again.
Despite the lock down happening, I've found my head buzzing with ideas.

I have previously used Etsy, as an online shop. Back in 2014 when I set up my account, it was straight forward to use and a great platform to find unique and handmade items.
With the growth of social media over the last 6 years, Etsy has changed into a social media platform of its own, requiring even more input and paid ads to get your products seen in searches.
There has also been an increase in mass produced art, where the shop owner does not have the copyright to be selling such artwork. Which means these shops can cut costs and sell at much lower prices than someone who creates their own art and products.
With all this in mind, I decided to leave Etsy and create my own online shop using Big Cartel.

Below are some of the new products I have available.

Prints, in A5 & A4 of my digital artwork. Printed on luscious matte paper ♥

I have a selection of prints available of my artwork, here are two of my favourites.

Plant club sticker pack, 6 vinyl house plant inspired designs ♥

I love stickers! I  make these in my mini studio at home. I plan on expanding my range of stickers, watch this space!

Sloth portraits, I offer individual or couple custom portraits ♥

Sloth portraits. I love doing commissioned artwork. A nice little treat for yourself or a gift to a loved one.
Digital files provided, ideal for use on social media, avatars or for printing at home.

Sloth Girl Comic ♥

My most proud creation I have ever done, apart from the Stephen Hawking Tyrannosaurus Rex sculpture I made in Uni.

' An empowering story of facing your fears, conquering challenges and self belief, for those who sometimes feel a little lost '

Sloth Girl artwork. Original paintings in watercolour ♥

I painted lots of conceptual artwork for my comic.  Originally, Sloth girl was going to be entirely painted in watercolour, but with moving to London, starting a new full time job and an impending deadline ( I had two months to be ready for Thought Bubble 2017 ) I decided to digitally draw it instead.

I'm proud of all the work I've managed to get together, and leaving Etsy behind to start my new online shop. I'm excited to expand my range of products and artwork, I have lots of cool stuff planned. In  the meantime, I hope you like what I've created so far.
